Muhammad(PBUH), An Ideal Personality
Muhammad(PBUH), An Ideal Personality ” Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad – peace be upon him) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much…” – (Quran – 33:21) The holy Prophet (peace be upon him) himself was the best example of exceptional moral characters to emulate. Before advising his (pbuh) companions to adopt a good moral life through sermons and counsels, he was sowing the seeds of morality among his followers by actually living that kind of life.
Islam in India
After the initial expansion of Islam by second in line companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and Arab traders on the shores of India, it were the stalwarts like Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Hazrat Qutbuddin Bakhtyar Kaki etc. and several others whose characters and teachings impressed oceans of humanity and ultimately led them to Islam. Thus Islam became an integral part of the Indian demography. Today, the followers of Islam are the second biggest in the country in terms of population.
God and His Attributes
He is Supreme. He is Most Beautiful. He is the Divine Light. There is no form factor defined for Him. He doesn’t come in any shape or size for us to percieve. No man or woman can ever see Him in this life. Still, we have got images and idols depicting God. He is much beyond the perception of what is perceived by an artist or a sculptor.
Life after Death
The Life of this world and of all that is in it will come to an end on an appointed day. Everything will be annihilated. That day is called Qiyamah, i.e. the Day of Judgment. All human beings who have lived on this earth since it’s creation will be restored to life and presented before God who will be the sole judge to decide the fate of each one of them

CONCEPT OF GOD IN CHRISTIANITY

A CREATOR EXISTS
“Say: He is Allah,The One and Only “Allah, the Eternal, Absolute (Assamad) “He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him. The word ‘Assamad’ means absolute existence, which can be attributed only to Allah (swt), all other existence being temporal or conditional.
WHO IS ALLAH?
The Arabic word ‘Allah’ is the proper name of God. It literally means ‘the One God’. The word Allah is unique and has no other word even remotely related to it. Simply put, in Arabic, God is called Allah. Allah, means the One God, the Creator, the Sustainer, the Designer of this universe.
UNITY OF GOD
The fundamental principle of belief in Islam is that God is One. There is No one else whatsoever in any form to be worshipped other than One God who has created this universe. There is no associate creator, no associate destroyer, neither a deputy designer nor a joint sustainer of the universe.
GOD AND HIS ATTRIBUTES
An awe-inspiring glimpse of the mighty snow-clad Himalayas or the breath-taking views of the Niagara or a divine dive in the Andamans in a scuba suit have only one reaction – ‘Oh My God’!! But have we ever given a moment of pause and ever wondered to ask ourselves what is God?
WHO IS MUHAMMAD
Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was born in Makkah in the year 570 A.D. Since his father died before his birth, and his mother shortly afterwards, he was raised by his uncle from the respected tribe of Quraysh. As he grew up, he became known for his truthfulness, generosity and sincerity.
AN IDEAL PERSONALITY
It was to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him -pbuh) that God revealed the Quran. Along with this Book of guidance God sent Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), whose behavior and high moral standards are an example to us all. Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) life was the Quran.
CONTRIBUTION TO HUMANITY
Prophet Muhammed’s (peace be upon him – pbuh) teachings show that Islam had come to illuminate the lives of the people with the light of virtue and good manners, to create in them brightness of character, and to fill their laps with the pearls of good conduct and oneness Of God
IN HINDU AND CHRISTIAN SCRIPTURES
This last prophet – Muhammed (peace be upon him) – has been called ‘naraashans’ in vedas, muhammed’ in the bhavishya purana, ‘kalk-avataar’ in the puranaas, ‘parakletos’ in the bible and the ‘last buddha’ in buddhist scriptures. These are very important facts
WHAT IS SHARIAH?
Shari’ah is the code of law for the Islamic way of life which Allah the Almighty has revealed for mankind and commanded us to follow. Shari’ah, or Islamic law, is the code of conduct for Muslims and is based on two main sources: The Qur’an and the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
HOW IS SHARIAH FORMED?
Islam is a complete Socio-Economic-Political system for the success of whole humanity and not just for people of a particular race or region. Allah the Almighty is All-knowing and All-powerful; He is the most Wise and His laws are the best and are complete regardless of time or geographies.
SHARIAH AND ISSUES OF GENDER
The rules of Sharia and acts of worship in Islam apply equally to men and women. There are only a few differences in the details due to different natures of men and women and role prioritization. Women are excused from family maintenance because of their greater domestic duties.
ISLAM AND TOLERANCE
One of the aspects constituting the Prophet (pbuh), is the way Islam deals with the people of other faiths. The tolerant attitude of Islam towards non-Muslims, whether they be those residing in their own countries or within the Muslim lands, can be clearly seen through a study of history.
HISTORY
In the later centuries, during the times of Muslim rulers, Islam did expand on a considerable pace, but the reason for this was not any sort of pressure from the then rulers. Rather it was the teachings and character of the Auliya that played a significant role in bringing people closer to the world of Islam.
CONTRIBUTIONS
Not just the clerics, even the common populace played a commendable role in the freedom struggle. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Hakeem Ajmal Khan, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai, Maulana Mohammed Ali, Maulana Shaukat Ali Jauhar and many others were a vital part of the freedom struggle.
KNOWLEDGE AND RESEARCH
Why knowledge for us – The main purpose of acquiring knowledge is to bring us closer to our Creator. It is not simply for the gratification of the mind or the senses. It is not knowledge for the sake of knowledge. Knowledge accordingly must be linked with values and goals
QURAN AND SCIENCE
Islam encourages science, and those who use their reason and follow their conscience in the pursuit of scientific research acquire a strong faith because they apprehend God’s signs at close hand. They are confronted with a flawless system and a perfect subtlety created by God.
